Meditation: Seven Breaths to Freedom
This exercise involves taking seven deep breaths. Deep breathing takes in more oxygen and helps calm your nervous system. As with every meditation in this book, you can record yourself reading this aloud then play the recording back as an audio-guided meditation.

Go somewhere private if you can, then close your eyes and picture seven circles vertically one on top of the other in front of you.

The circle on the very bottom is red for your root chakra. Picture this circle glowing red as you take a deep breath in and out.

The circle above the red circle is orange for your sacral chakra. Picture it glowing orange as you take another deep breath in and out.

The circle above the orange circle is yellow for your solar plexus chakra. Picture it glowing yellow as you take a deep breath in and out.

The circle above the yellow circle is green for your heart chakra. Picture it glowing green as you take a deep breath in and out.

The circle above the green circle is turquoise for your throat chakra. Picture it glowing turquoise as you take yet another deep breath in and out.

The circle above the turquoise circle is blue for your third eye. Picture it glowing blue as you take a deep breath in and out.

The circle above the blue circle is at the very top and it is purple for your crown chakra. Picture it glowing purple as you take a final deep breath in and out.
Your chakra system is now balanced in a way that has your nervous system appropriately regulated to let you move forward through your day with a clear mind and a stronger sense of the strength you possess within yourself.

Meditation: Bubbling Up
This exercise is a crucial part of psychic self-defense and is geared toward keeping your energetic field close to your body in a way that doesn’t allow energy vampirism to drain you.
​
Close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths to get centered energetically. Imagine that your personal energy field is a giant bubble extending about ten to twenty feet around you.
Say to yourself, “May divine universal energy flow to and through me.”
​
Take a deep breath. Picture this bubble shrinking in. Take another deep breath. This time, suck the bubble in even more. Your bubble should be just a few feet around you now. Take a final deep breath. This time, envision your bubble sticking to your body like shrink wrap. Then open your eyes.
​
Congratulations! Your energetic field is right where it belongs, sticking tightly to you and keeping all nasty energy at bay. If you’re new to this exercise, then you may need to do it several times a day. Keep practicing and you’ll eventually notice that you can pull in your bubble automatically.

Meditation: Sleeping Safe and Sound
Proper rest is one of the cornerstones of being centered and grounded. Sleeping well strengthens your intuitive gut instinct. This exercise keeps you safely bubbled up while sleeping.

Get into bed and get comfortable. Now say to yourself or aloud, “Archangel Michael, all other archangels, and guardian Angels, fill this house.” My mind’s eye usually sees all of these angels smooshed into my home with all of their wings getting in each other’s faces and I find this quite funny!
Next, envision a large bubble surrounding your home on all sides, including the roof and earth underneath the foundation. Now imagine this protective bubble has a mirrored coating facing out to reflect or “bounce back” any negativity that comes at you while you sleep.

Now say to yourself or aloud, “Archangel Michael, all other archangels, and guardian angels, surround my house.” Envision all the angels spreading their bodies and their wings out with their backs against your mirrored bubble as sentries guarding against and taking care of any approaching negative energy. Finally, envision the property line of the property your home sits on, then say “Archangel Michael, all other archangels, and guardian angels, surround my property.” Envision another much larger mirrored bubble surrounding your entire property with the angels once again facing out.
Now go to sleep knowing the angels are protecting you.

I cannot tell you how well I sleep every night. Sometimes I forget to do this meditation exercise and will hear a bump or a knock in my home. I then immediately do this meditation exercise, and it’s nighty night for me!
